Il y a plus de 50 ans, Pierre Laffitte plantait en pleine garrigue les graines de ce qui allait devenir la première Technopole d’Europe. Sophia Antipolis, dénommée « Cité internationale de la Sagesse, des Sciences et des Techniques », est supposée devenir la Florence du XXIème siècle en combinant économie, technologie, écologie et art de vivre. Aujourd’hui Sophia est un parc de plus de 2000 hectares dédié à la haute technologie et à l’intelligence artificielle. Sur la Côte d’Azur, les technologies innovantes ont dépassé le tourisme en matière de création de richesse et d’emploi mais saurons-nous entretenir cet esprit sophipolitain et cette « sagesse » chers au fondateur de Sophia Antipolis ?

Sophia Antipolis, called "International City of Wisdom, of Science and Technology", is supposed to become the Florence of the twenty-first century by combining economy, technology, ecology and lifestyle. Today Sophia is a park of more than 2000 hectares dedicated to high technology and artificial intelligence. On the French Riviera, innovative technologies have surpassed tourism in terms of wealth creation and employment, but will we be able to maintain this Sophipolitan spirit and this wisdom near the heart of he founder of Sophia Antipolis?
